The President of John de la Howe – School for Agriculture shall serve as the Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the Agency. The President shall be the Chief School Administrator of the Agency and principal advisor to the Board of Trustees. The President shall directly or indirectly supervise all persons employed by the Agency.

Applicants for this position must have a Master’s Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university. A doctoral degree is preferred. Also, experience and/or a degree in agricultural education or an allied agriculture or forestry and natural resources field is required. Applicants must be eligible for a South Carolina certification as a superintendent.
