On Sunday, October 27th, the John de la Howe – School for Agriculture hosted its 1st Trunk or Treat from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on the John de la Howe campus.
During this event, costumes, decorations, and creativity were encouraged as children and their families received candy and treats from each pre-registered trunk. Additional activities included face painting, wagon rides provided by Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, and corn hole. All attendees received a complimentary JDLH tote bag for all of their collected treats.
“John de la Howe’s first Trunk or Treat was a huge success. We appreciate all the children, parents, and participants that took part in this. We plan to make this an annual affair and add additional things every year. I can see this turning into a real community event,” said Interim President, Dr. Sharon Wall.
