The gates of the South Carolina Governor’s School for Agriculture at John de la Howe will swing open once again next month for its fourth annual celebration of fall.
The school’s HOWE-LLOWEEN FESTIVAL is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, October 23 beginning at 4 p.m. The festival will unfold on the Governor’s Green in the center of campus with activities for the whole family. The public is invited.
There will a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, pony rides, food truck and other vendors, and a traditional trunk-or-treat. Admission is free, but patrons are urged to bring cash for the food truck and other possible vendors.
In addition, donations will be accepted to support breast cancer research and the non-profit John de la Howe Foundation to support student scholarships.
Community organizations wishing to participate in the trunk-or-treat should contact Kaycee Keasler, our Coordinator of Outreach and Student Services, at kaycee.keasler@delahowe.sc.gov.
