The 2023 Miss FFA Scholarship Pageant is coming up Friday, March 10, and the entry deadline is fast approaching.

The annual competition, presented by the S.C. Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe, is open only to South Carolina FFA members enrolled in 10th, 11th or 12th grades. It will be held again this year at Lander University.

Contestants will be judged in four categories -- their application, interview, evening wear and on-stage questions -- and each contestant must have a Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) to present in a summary of 200 words or less. The winner of the 2023 Miss FFA Scholarship Pageant will receive a $500 scholarship payable to the college, university or trade school of the winner's choice.
