An Ag Showcase scheduled for Thursday, September 26 and hosted by the South Carolina Tree Farm Committee has been postponed due to the approach of Hurricane Helene. The event was to have been held on our historic McCormick County campus in celebration of Georgia Seabrook, the South Carolina Tree Farmer of the Year. The event has been postponed until March. 

The major hurricane approaching the Florida coast is expected to bring heavy rain, high winds and possible severe weather to our region beginning midday Thursday into Friday.
