EQUIPMENT SHOP

Students at the John de la Howe campus work on a piece of equipment.

Students at the South Carolina Governor's School for Agriculture have the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of farm equipment. Among the farm tools available to students and farm staff are tractors (subcompact, compact and full-size); combine; planters and grain drills; tillers, tetter and rakes; a skid steer with a post-driver, trencher and brush cutter; and other heavy equipment.

This equipment is used for farm tasks and campus improvement projects, with students actively engaged in the operation of these vehicles.
