POULTRY CENTER

Our poultry center is where our chickens live.

Our Poultry Center is located in one of the many refurbished barns on campus.  Currently we house a variety of laying breeds that produce a minimum of 50 percent of all the eggs that we consume in our cafeteria.

Future plans include an indoor broiler production area as well as mobile chicken tractors that will be used in our rotational grazing programs.  The chicken tractors will allow us to produce pasture-raised poultry while lending us the added benefit of fertilizing our pastures as we rotate them behind cattle and swine.
