Earlier this week, for National FFA Week, we invited our Aggies to share how their ag teachers impact their lives. In addition to our traditional ag classroom teachers and FFA advisors, a number of skilled folks also advise our students on their SAE projects. Garland Wilson wanted to praise Mrs. Susan Jones, who leads our apiculture program.
"My SAE project is about learning how to manage a beehive successfully and safely. I learned these skills from my mentor Mrs. Jones by researching, reading, learning how to use beekeeping equipment, and learning how to properly inspect a beehive. These skills will help me be a successful beekeeper and are crucial skills to learn to get a beekeepers certification." Thanks, ag teachers AND other SAE mentors!

Each one helps me discover my potential in all areas of agriculture and the National FFA Organization! As an aspiring agriculture teacher, there is no one better to be mentored by than Mrs. Rhodes, Mr. Abrams, Mrs. Templeton, and Mr. Morton!" Thanks, ag teachers!
